Genie Bottles
In 2005, Lara began making vessels from paper, cardboard, acetate, and yarn.
These curious "genie bottles" (as she likes to call them) are adorned with various
vintage jewels and findings, and have confetti sandwiched between the layers.

Quilts
Lara became interested in quilting after agreeing to make quilts for the Mary
Munford Elementary School fund raising auction. For three years she oversaw the
creation of class quilts for each grade level. Each student contributed one piece of
original artwork. Here are some of those quilts, as well as some of her personal
quilts.
